Skill/spell idea - not sure about class
 

I just thought an area of effect skill depriving everything in an area of the ability to fly/climb/swim for a certain time period might be a pretty cool spell/skill. Would make it quite difficult for your opponents to catch you and keep them out of your way for a time.

would it not have the same affect on you?
I think it would be about as popular with some as Sorcies fog :)

North Wind and Enmesh already do this, although more generally towards movement.:(

Well, I think the skill shouldn't affect you, just enemies in the area of effect. It wouldn't prevent them from moving at all, just no flying/climbing/swimming for an extended period of time, restricting their movement a bit. Your opponents would still be able to move, so it's not as powerful as enmesh in that sense, but you could hit groups of people/mobs, making up the power gap. It could be one of the subclass ultimate skills for one of the subclasses with an otherwise unused skill. Yeah, it would be annoying, but you who wants to make their opponents happy anyway?
